Tinizol 500mg (Tinidazole) is an oral nitroimidazole antibiotic used to treat parasitic and bacterial infections. It is highly effective for trichomoniasis, giardiasis, amebiasis, and bacterial vaginosis (sometimes referred to as “toilet infection”).

Key Information & Usage

Dosage: Taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is often taken as a single 2-gram dose (4 tablets of 500mg) or once daily for a few days.

How to Take: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Taking it with food can help minimize potential stomach irritation.

Alcohol Warning: Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication and for 72 hours (3 days) after stopping. Doing so can cause severe nausea, vomiting, cramps, and flushing
