How It Works
The 2% Clotrimazole in Gynaemed Cream works by disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Dosage
For skin infections, apply a thin layer of Gynaemed Cream to the affected area and surrounding skin 2 times daily. For vaginal yeast infections, follow the specific instructions provided with the product or as directed by your healthcare provider. Due to its higher concentration, treatment duration may be shorter than with 1% formulations.
Side Effects
While generally well-tolerated, the higher concentration may increase the likelihood of mild side effects such as skin irritation, burning sensation, or redness at the application site. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.
Warning
For external use only, unless specifically prescribed for vaginal use. Avoid contact with eyes and other mucous membranes.
