SWIPHA PYROX RABEPRAZOLE

Swipha Pyrox is a brand name for Rabeprazole, a prescription proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat acid-related stomach conditions. It works by decreasing acid production in the stomach and is commonly used to manage ulcers, acid reflux (GERD), and Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections.

Types of Pyrox Available

Pyrox-20: Contains 20mg of Rabeprazole sodium per enteric-coated tablet, used for general acid control, GERD, and ulcers.Pyrox Combi: A coordinated combipack that contains Rabeprazole along with antibiotics (Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin) to eradicate H. pylori bacteria.

How to Take It

Dosage: Always follow your physician’s exact instructions. A typical adult dose for active ulcers or GERD is 20mg taken once daily.

Timing: Swallow the tablets whole without chewing. They are typically taken in the morning, ideally 30 to 60 minutes before a meal.

Course of Treatment: If you are taking Pyrox Combi for an H. pylori infection, you will usually take it for 7 to 14 days. Be sure to complete the entire course as prescribed to fully clear the infection, even if your symptoms improve early.
